AWS: strengths
Mature ecosystem, extremely well-documented. Managed services for everything. RDS, Lambda, ECS: solid.
Verdict for a French SME
Scaleway. Seriously. The price-to-performance ratio and GDPR compliance win out for a reasonably-sized company.
